I often ponder the 'meaning of life, the universe and everything' but I always seem to come back to the fundamental idea of the creation of the Amiga has in some way, been integrated with the true meaning of life itself. It seems that the answer to the meaning of life itself lies in the relationship between the Amigan and the Amiga.
Lets take the average Amiga-user for an example. Before he was an Amiga-user, there was nothing :- no happiness, no interest and no purpose. Then, if we go back in time to somewhere in the 1980's, the Amiga appeared. Then, all of a sudden, the pre-amiga human began to take interest in this digital device. These pre-Amiga humans managed, out of their ingenuity and heartfelt desire to explore these interesting devices, began to scrounge up enough money to buy these devices which, at the time, appeared to be overpriced pieces of crap and only meant for a few degenerate retards to amuse themselves by playing thousands of hours of the most mundane, superficially manifested games ever created.
But this apparent view of severe mental retardation was not really the case. In essence, it was quite the opposite. People who purchased these devices became super-heroes ! In fact, they became living legends, kings of the digital world, even GOD's to some extent.
And so, the Amiga frenzy began to take hold in the populace of humankind. The Amigan was seen to be by far, the superior human being, one who became enlightened, advanced beyond anything ever seen before on earth. When ever anyone walked by a bunch of Amigans using their devices, it was madness - marble madness in fact. Jaws would drop. Astonishment would appear on the faces of those lucky enough to witness this new era in human-to-computer development.
The new-age was upon us. GOD had provided humanity with the one and only means of total understanding of the meaning of life, the universe and everything.
It was the Amiga !
